The true success story of the winery starts in 1992, when its founder, Ivo Skaramu\u010da, was enabled to operate as a private grape and wine producer in Croatia.<\/p>\n

Ivo Skaramu\u010da was one of the founders of the private winemaking and viticulture in the Dalmatia region of Croatia and on the Pelje\u0161ac island. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \t\t\t<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”70px”][vc_column_text]Unbelievable enthusiasm, supernatural power, a desire to create and work, and a belief in success adorned a man who made a small vineyard paradise out of the vast forest and stone, which leaves even the most enviable breathless. Ivo left an imprint on the Croatian and Peljesac wine scene. He changed the path of many new generations of winemakers and enabled his successors to continue in his footsteps.<\/p>\n

His son Igor Skaramu\u010da and daughter Ivana An\u0111eli\u0107 continued the story of this Pelje\u0161ac winery with immense respect for dedicated work and creation. Today the winery is managed by a team made up of Igor Skaramu\u010da, Ivana and Branimir An\u0111eli\u0107. Together, they maintain vineyards, invest in new technologies, create new specialty wine collections and market themselves, contributing to the modern development of the winery.<\/p>\n

Skaramu\u010da Winery is one of the largest private winemakers in Croatia and the owner of the largest vineyard in the Dinga\u010d area.
\nThe vineyards are located in prominent areas of the Peljesac peninsula, belonging to the Peljesac district and Dinga\u010d wine area. Vineyards on the southern slopes of Dinga\u010d cover an area of 20 ha.<\/p>\n

Dinga\u010d is a premium red dry wine of controlled origin from the restricted areas of the Peljesac Peninsula. In 1961 the wine was protected by the Geneva Convention and became the first Croatian wine protected by law. It is obtained from the autochthonous variety plavac mali from the Dinga\u010d locality, on the steep southern slopes of the Pelje\u0161ac peninsula.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”70px”]\n
